Your Case Is Not Hopeless

not hopeless

Every life’s challenges are opportunities to move God into action. Whatever you are passing through in life, God has a way out for you. We serve a God who specializes in handling impossible cases. Luke 1:37. So, yours’ can never be hopeless with him.

The Israelites faced the red sea, but God made a way for them. Exodus 14:1-31. Goliath was an impossible case for the host of Israel but God brought him down through young David. 1 Samuel 17:1-54.

Sarah had lost hope of getting a child when God gave her Isaac. Genesis 21:1-7. Mephibosheth thought he would end up in Lo-debar but God brought him out to eat with the king in the palace. 2 Samuel 9:1-13.

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego were expected to burn into ashes but God brought them out alive. Daniel was expected to be devoured by Lions but God brought him out alive. Mordecai was condemned to death by hanging but God preserved his life.

The widow of Zarephath faced a hopeless situation but God turned it around 1 king 17:17-24. The widow in 2 Kings 4:1-7, would have been exposed to shame and ridicule by the creditors but God made a way out for her.

Zechariah and Elizabeth at their old age were hopeless about their bareness but God gave them a miracle child. Luke 1:5ff. The man at the pool of Bethesda had lost hope on his paralysis but Jesus appeared to him with healing power. John 5:1-9.

The widow of Nain had lost hope on her only son but Jesus restored her hope. Luke 7:11-14. Peter in Acts 12 had been condemned to death but God sent his angels to rescue him.

I don’t know what you are passing through, and I don’t know how hopeless the situation seems to be, but there is one thing that I know: God Will Show Up.

Your situation might be financial mess up, academic set back, marital delay, terminal disease, or bareness, even this present pandemic, whatsoever you are passing through that makes you feel there is no hope again, our God is the God of all flesh nothing is too difficult for him. Jeremiah 32:27. He will settle your case

Yes! Faith is not a denial of facts, but faith helps us to operate in the realm of the supernatural. The fact speaks of realities, but faith takes us to the realm of possibilities.

The fact is that the whole world is in serious problem and every effort to come out of it proves abortive but faith says with God all things are possible. Matthew 19:26. The fact is that this pandemic is killing people daily, but faith says: you shall not die but live to declare the works of the Lord. Psalm 118:17

The fact is that you are financially down and the whole world is moving into economic recession, but faith says: But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19. The fact is that medical report shows that your health is deteriorating, but faith says your dry bone shall live again. The fact is that you are weak but faith says you are strong. Joel 3:10

What do You Need to Do?

See things the way God sees them.

God’s way is different from man’s way. Abraham was pleading for a son but God told him his children will be as many as the sand of the sea. And because he saw it that way he received it. The children of Israel saw the red sea but God saw dry ground. Gideon saw himself as the last born of the least family but God saw a mighty man of valor. Your life is not moving by what men see but by what God sees. Men may see problems ahead of you but God sees opportunities. Men see stumbling blocks but God sees stepping stones. Open your spiritual eyes and see things the way God sees them. What do you see? But as for me, I see everything turning around for your favour.

Trust God that he’s able to handle your case.

One other way to provoke God into action is to trust his ability. Others feared Goliath but David trusted God for victory. The three Hebrew men were so sure that God can deliver them. Mary the mother of Jesus was so convinced that Jesus has the power to do something concerning the finished wine. Mary and Martha (the sisters of Lazarus) told Jesus that we know if you had been here our brother will not die. People who experience God in action are people who believe in the ability of God. God has the power to handle your case, just trust him, he will do it.

Stop rating your problem higher than God.

One of the problems with people is that they saw the magnitude of their problem and limit the power of God. There are so many predictions about this pandemic based on facts at hand. In as much as I don’t dispute the facts on the ground, the truth remains that: The earth is the LORD’s, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. So, whatever is happening is not more than what God can handle. The question is who is greater, Your problem or God?

Stop looking up to men.

The danger in this generation is that we look up to men when we need help and the bible says woe unto him that put his trust in man. There is little to what man can do without the approval of God. Our God is a jealous God, who don’t want to share his glory with anyone. He wants us to look up to him in our life’s challenges. So, take your face off men.

Stop living a careless life.

Caution! Faith does not encourage carelessness. Come to think of it: do you remember the temptation of Jesus in the wilderness? When the Devil brought Him to Jerusalem and set Him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto Him,

“If thou be the son of God, cast thyself down from hence.”  Luke 4:9

He even quoted Psalm 91:11-12 for him that: “For it is written, He shall give his angel charge over thee to keep thee in their hands, they shall bear thee up lest at any time thou dash thy feet against a stone.” Luke 4:10-11

But the response of Jesus was according to knowledge: And Jesus answers and said, thou shall not tempt the Lord thy God. Luke 4:12.

Jesus knew that what the Devil asked him to do wasn’t an act of faith but to deliberately tempt God.

Faith is not carelessness or overconfidence. God will not defend what he did not command

Samson was a strong but a careless man, the repercussion was that he paid with his life. Judges 16:21. Faith requires discipline and self-control. Don’t, in the name of faith be careless with your life, it can lead to disaster.

Be proactive in prayer.

Payer still remains the only communication tool through which man speaks to God. Report that terrible case to him and ask him to handle it. He said we should call upon him that he will answer. Jeremiah 33:3. So, talk to him in prayer and you will see him in action.

Conclusion

Just as God told Prophet Ezekiel to prophesy to dry bones, I prophesy to your life today, Whatsoever your case may be, God will turn it around for your favour. That sickness is not unto death. You will have your miracle baby. That business is coming back to life. God will settle that debt. That court case will end in your favour. You are coming up again. You won’t end in frustration. Your dry bone shall live again. Your test will turn to testimony. You will overcome all trials of life. You will finish well.
